The Commitments Class was formed in 1998 and currently has about 40 active couples in their 30's and 40's. The class is composed of married couples (with and without children), who are excited about the opportunity to grow in Christ through our curriculum, care ministry, missions, and fellowship. The class is geared toward understanding God's intent for us in Christian living, marriage, and spiritual growth.

Highland Park United Methodist Church is located on the Southwest corner of the Southern Methodist University Campus in Dallas, TX. Approximately three miles from downtown Dallas, it is easily accessible from Central Expressway (U.S. 75) by taking the Mockingbird Lane exit.

Class begins at 9:30 AM each Sunday and lasts for one hour. Each class is run using the following format:

Fellowship Time (15 minutes)
Announcements / Joys and Concerns (10 minutes)
Lesson (35 minutes)
